This month has really been great so far. I'm actually healthy, the children are healthy, Spencer's final four teeth have poked through, and the weather is warm again. Now if we could just stop those 4:30 am wake-ups by Spencer, but I'm okay with that.
Last Saturday, our primary had an amazing activity at the temple. All the families got to go to the temple grounds for some music, sharing of special experiences, photos, coloring, and even spcecial little tours into the foyer of the temple to see the stained glass window and enjoy the Spirit of The House of God. The children were so reverent and had such a neat experience.
Alia wrote this when she got home and stuck it up on our bulletin board:Things to Think About.
(1) How did you feel at the temple?
(2) Did you ask Heavenly Father any questions?
(3) If yes, then did you get any answers?
(4) What did you think of it?
(5) Did you wish that you could visit the temple more often?"
It was so sweet to read these questions. Eric and I feel very grateful to have our Alia. And even though she gives us a run for our money, she is totally worth it.
We got to have a special temple FHE Monday night, and it was a neat experience to talk with the children and let them write in their little temple jounals. So sweet.
We also got to have a great St. Patrick's Day. We made green pancakes in the shape of shamrocks (but they looked really ugly...don't tell the children). And everyone was all smiles in their green shirts. Thank you, Target.
Ethan and I used our St. Patrick's Day shirts for the Mother/Son bowling activity the Elementary School put on last week. Pizza, soda, bowling...Ethan was in heaven, and I was in heaven just watching him. Good thing we didn't really pay attention to the score. I think I got 45 or something like that.
Ethan is hilarious with Spencer. Last week after I brought Ethan home from Kindergarten, Spencer looked like this. I said, "Ethan, why does Spencer have pudding all over his face and all in his hair?" (It was caked on the back of his head).
Ethan's reply was, "I don't know!"
I love my family. They're so fun...and messy, but that's for another day.

I love reading your posts April! I had to laugh about the car wash - my kids were always scared of that too!!
